They tried COL

Clear and instructive!

I bought the Whitewater pack because I wanted to learn more about the topic and I wasn't disappointed. The approach is well structured, I found tips I didn't know, it's clear and easy to understand. I recommend it!

Perfect to start out in whitewater!

I took a lesson and honestly it's super simple to understand, even when you're just starting. The explanations are clear and it makes you want to keep going. I learned tons of things to be more comfortable in the current. Really recommend!

Discover the COL method

What changes compared to isolated videos, in four points.

  • Structured progression Levels, modules and chapters, in the right order.
    Show detailsHide details
Instead of clips from mixed sources with no clear path, you move forward level by level, from your first rappel to expert-level decisions. The Professional level is in preparation.
  • Learning to decide Understanding why you do a gesture, not just how.
    Show detailsHide details
Isolated videos mostly show execution. COL teaches you to read the situation and choose the right gesture at the right moment. Watching videos does not replace practice in the field or supervised training.
  • Visual language Symbols and demonstrations that go beyond language.
    Show detailsHide details
The same symbols and demonstrations come back in every lesson. They help team members understand each other, even without sharing a spoken language.
  • Field expertise 30+ years in the field behind every lesson.

Your instructor has more than 30 years of experience across 5 continents. It is passed on in the lessons, the modules and the decision benchmarks.

Frequently asked questions

Access, renewal, stopping, and the difference between the two options.

What do I get with COL PASS?
Access to every lesson published on the COL platform, level by level: Beginner, Autonomous and Expert, with the Professional level in preparation. Every new lesson published during your access is included. You watch on mobile or desktop.
How does the renewal of annual access work?
You pay €119 for one year of access. The subscription renews automatically every year, unless you stop the renewal before then.
How do I stop the renewal?
Log in and open this page: the “Unsubscribe” button is in the annual access card. The renewal stops, and your access stays open until the end of the year you already paid for.
What is the difference between annual and lifetime access?
Annual access costs €119 a year and renews automatically. The Founding Lifetime VIP is a one-time payment of €249, with no renewal, with the founding benefits listed on its card.
Is COL only for beginners?
Not at all. COL is built around 4 levels — Beginner, Autonomous, Expert and Professional (in preparation). Beginners get solid foundations and real clarity. Autonomous practitioners sharpen decision-making and team management. Experts work on self-rescue and complex rope-work. The Professional level, in preparation, is designed for guiding, teaching and framing risk. You start where you are and progress at your own pace.
How is COL different from free videos and field training?
Free videos show isolated gestures. Field training gives you practice but rarely structures what you learn. COL is a method — a structured progression across 4 levels, with a visual language and 30+ years of international field expertise behind every decision. It does not replace real practice on real canyons — it gives you the structure, clarity and common language to make every session in the field count.
